 Hello everyone, I’m Imani I’ve been going through my breast cancer journey a little over a year now. I’ve had a double mastectomy surgery (both breast removed), and I’ve had majority of my lymph nodes under my left underarm removed. I’ve undergone NUMEROUS amounts of chemotherapy treatments as well as radiation treatments (working full time non stop throughout the entire journey) &amp; now it’s time for my biggest surgery of them all, the BREAST RECONSTRUCTION‼️

 I’ve decided to use my own body fat instead of implants, so during this surgery my stomach will be cut and a chunk of it will be removed and transferred to my breast and reattached to my chest wall. I will lose my belly button during the process, but they’ll make me a new one. My hospital stay after this surgery depends on my recovery &amp; if my new flaps survive. I’ll be out of work for 12 weeks! I won’t be able to lay down for 2 weeks after surgery, so I’ll have to sleep on a recliner or upward position, and I won’t be able to bend, stretch or lift for weeks! Some of you may already know I have 5 children (2,4,6,8,&amp;11). 4 boys, 1 girl.
