<div>On Thursday, we got the call that the biopsy showed <strong>Ian has osteosarcoma in his femur in his left leg.</strong> He’s been referred to the Jimmy Fund Clinic/Dana Farber in Boston. We’re meeting with the oncologist there next week.

<div>We’re still figuring out what Ian’s treatment plan will be and how they’ll remove the tumor. This new case of osteosarcoma doesn’t seem like a relapse of the one he had before. It looks like a whole new case, and it’s not related to the previous one (which is puzzling to the doctors). How does Ian get a rare cancer twice? It’s not fair. Ian is staying positive, even though he’s dealing with a lot of pain.
