Last Stop, A Surreal Drama About Grief And Closure

Donation protected

Hi, we’re HolySheet Productions, and Final Stop is our latest project—an ambitious film we’re excited to share. It’s a personal, surreal story about chance encounters, quiet grief, and not always knowing where you’re headed in life.

We’re reaching out for your support to help bring this film to life, and we’d be so grateful for any contribution.

The Story

We follow Dave’s surreal time-bending journey as he waits at a bus stop and encounters a mysterious truck driver. As he’s pulled into a series of unsettling events, the lines between reality and nightmare blur, forcing him to confront his destiny and the dark truths about his connections to those around him.

Why this film?

Last Stop is a personal exploration of memory, identity, and the fragility of reality. Inspired by the surreal storytelling of David Lynch, the film leads viewers into a world where time slips and perception bends. Through an unusual encounter at a bus stop, Last Stop invites us to sit with uncertainty—where the line between the ordinary and the uncanny quietly dissolves. Blending the familiar with the strange, it creates an atmosphere that’s both comforting and unsettling, asking us to explore the space between what we know and what we can’t explain.

Visual style

The visual style of Last Stop blends surrealism and atmosphere to create a sense of unease. Using stark lighting contrasts, the film captures Dave’s disorienting journey. Close-ups and odd angles heighten the feeling of isolation, while a mix of natural and artificial lighting blurs the line between reality and dream. Inspired by David Lynch, the visuals are haunting and mysterious, drawing the viewer into a world where nothing is as it seems

Team

Our core production team is already in place with the key players driving the vision forward, and we’ll be bringing on more collaborators as we get closer to filming—we’re actively looking to grow the team.

Were Donations Will Go

To bring Last Stop to life, we’re raising funds to cover the essential components of production. The biggest portion of our budget—42.1%—will go toward securing the right locations, which are crucial for building the surreal, grounded world of the film. 31.6% is allocated for our cast and crew, ensuring we can fairly compensate the talented people helping bring this vision to the screen. The remaining 26.3% will be used for gear and props, helping us capture the film’s unique atmosphere with the tools and details it deserves.
