"My name is Alejandro Chavez, I am a working artist, Argentine tango Dancer, and instructor. The totality of my income comes from performing, teaching and coaching. As a result of the current COVID-19 crisis, all shows, events, workshops, classes and work trips abroad have been cancelled. At the moment I’m grounded in the city of Sofia without being able to travel. Two days ago, April 3, Bulgaria’s parliament decided to extend the state of emergency to May 13 and the final duration of the measures are still uncertain, as we all know. This situation has dropped my income to zero. However, even with quarantine, the fixed costs for immigration documentation, bill payments, studio rent, and housing are impossible to avoid. It is not easy to ask for help… But here I go. I have chosen this fundraiser and request your support. Together we can overcome the situation and I will be grateful for your help and donation, if your income is not compromised due to this crisis and you can afford it.
