Hello, my name is Henry Bautista. I am a senior at Loyola High School and a member of Boy Scout Troop 131 at St.Philip the Apostle Church in Pasadena.

My Eagle Project is located at Joint Forces Training Base, Los Alamitos, in Los Alamitos, CA. The base is the headquarters of the 40th Infantry Division of the California Army National Guard.

It plays a crucial role in supporting readiness for National Guard and other Department of Defense entities in Southern California.

In addition, the base hosts many community events. One mission of the base is preserving military history, including static displays of weapons, vehicles and aircraft on the grounds.

This project is focused on the design, construction and installation of information placards placed on wooden stands. Each placed will corresspond to one of eight unique, historic military systems on the base. They will provide historical background and general information about that specific vehicle.

The wooden stands will be placed adjacent to each aircraft, weapon or aircraft to provide visitors easily accessible and informative display.

The information on the placards will highlight key facts, including the vehicle's usage, history, and other notable facts.

With your support, I can complete this project to help preserve military history and educate the public.

For my Eagle Project, I will be building and installing information pedestals on displays of military equipment at Joint Forces Training Base Los Alamitos. The funds I am raising will pay for lumber, plastic, fasteners, hand tools and concrete for the installation. My project will educate the public and help preserve military history in Southern California.
