Hi, my name is Max and I am trying to raise money for vet expenses for my little boy Helios.

Upon getting home from work on Feb 24, Helios couldn’t close his mouth or stop drooling. He is having trouble eating and drinking, and I know he has to be in a lot of pain and discomfort right now.

We took him to a vet, which ran bloodwork and gave him anti-inflammatories and antibiotics, but they didn’t treat the dislocation in his jaw or do imaging to diagnose it. Yesterday left nearly a $500 vet bill, and upon making phone calls today, xrays to diagnose the dislocation are $300-$600, not including treatment of the injury. I have been struggling financially prior to this, and now I have no way to help my poor baby, and it hurts to know he is suffering.

Update: February 26th - Today was the date scheduled for Helios to get his surgery done but they noticed his jaw went back into place overnight, possibly with help from the pain meds to help him do it himself. They didn’t need to perform surgery but said to keep an eye on him, and the vet bills from the past few days are just shy of $1200
