Helena Carvalho is a sweet 5-month-old baby who has already faced more challenges than most of us will in a lifetime. Recently, Helena suffered a stroke for reasons that doctors are still trying to understand. She is now epileptic and has been staying at Children's Hospital in St. Louis, where she continues to receive care and undergo tests to find answers. The uncertainty and fear have been overwhelming for our family, but Helena’s strength and resilience inspire us every day.
