Recently, she was diagnosed with localized colon cancer. While we are grateful it was caught early, she will still be going through treatment and may require surgery.

In addition to that, she runs her own tailoring shop next door—truly a one-woman show. Because of the upcoming treatments, we’re not sure how much she’ll realistically be able to work, and as a small-business owner, that means her income will be greatly affected.
