<div>Hi, my name is Jenny, and I'm creating this fundraiser on behalf of my uncle, Hector Cruz.

<div>Recently, our family received heartbreaking news: <strong>my uncle has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.</strong> This diagnosis came as a complete shock to all of us. Hector has always been the strong, hardworking, and dependable one. The person who never asked for help and always made sure everyone else was taken care of.

<div>Because of this illness, he's no longer able to work, which has made it incredibly hard for him to cover basic living expenses and unexpected medical bills that continue to grow.

<div>Before his diagnosis, my uncle was in the process of petitioning for his two sons in the Philippines to come to the United States for a better future. Sadly, that process has been put on hold, but being reunited with his boys remains one of his greatest wishes.

<div>Hector has worked hard his entire life to support himself and those he loves, and now he needs our support in return. <strong>We're raising funds to help relieve the financial stress of medical costs, daily living needs, and to hopefully make it possible for his sons to be by his side.</strong>
