Support Harley Richards' Battle with Moyamoya

Hello everyone!

This page is made for Harley Richards and his family. Harley is a seven-year-old boy who is every bit of personality! He lives in Trumann, AR with his parents Terry and Theresa Richards. They have all been through quite a bit within the past two months and concerns for Harley's health has left both Terry and Theresa unable to work at a full-time capacity. Harley has down syndrome and was recently diagnosed with Moyamoya disease. The nature of this disease is that it causes certain arteries in the brain to constrict. Harley experienced a stroke on Memorial weekend which led the doctors to the diagnosis and a week being hospitalized. On July 2nd, he underwent a surgery to help correct the constricted arteries on one side of his brain. Harley and his family were able to go home six days later on July 8th! On July 10th he had experienced another stroke requiring air transportation to an appropriate hospital. The family is unable to predict how long Harley will be hospitalized at this time and are unable to return to work until he is released. Further surgeries to correct the constricted arteries are being scheduled out and further hospital stays are predicted.
