Hello, I’m Ally Kowalczyk, the founder of Happy Hearts Playcare in Cedar Point, NC.

Happy Hearts exists today because of a shove from God. I felt called to create a safe, faith-based playcare where families, especially military families, single parents, and moms or dads who need trusted last-minute care, could find a loving village when they do not have relatives nearby.

We opened our doors on faith with very little funding, trusting that God would provide. And He has through the kindness of our community, the laughter of children in our indoor play space, and couples who came to our affordable Date Nights to strengthen their marriages.

Recently, an unexpected insurance FRAUD left us suddenly uninsured and forced us to close temporarily. As a new small business already scraping by, this setback has pushed us loads behind financially, but we remain committed to the mission God gave us.

We are asking for $22,752.50 to help us get back on our feet and re-open quickly so we can continue serving families who rely on us:

• $12,552.50 – secure proper business and liability insurance and pay the deposit/binder

• $4,000 – recover lost payroll so our caring staff can stay with us

• $2,900 – cover rent and utilities during the closure

• $3,300 – replenish emergency fund!
