<div>For 35 incredible years, Hans Westermark has been the heart and soul of Apple Annie’s Bake Shop. Renowned for his exquisite cake decorating skills, Hans has brought joy to countless celebrations, from birthdays to weddings, with his stunning and delicious creations. His artistry has not only made our bakery a beloved local gem, but it has also earned him a massive following of almost a million fans on his social media pages, where he continues to inspire countless bakers and sweet-toothed enthusiasts with his creativity and passion. However, just as he was gearing up for another busy season, Hans received devastating news: he has been diagnosed with stage 2 Colorectal Cancer. This diagnosis has been a heavy blow, not only to Hans, but to his wife and children, and all of us who consider him family at the Bakery. Despite the challenges he faces, Hans has shown remarkable strength and resilience. He continues to work at the bakery every day, pouring his heart into each cake, while bravely undergoing treatment. Hans’s unwavering dedication to his craft and his fans is truly inspiring. Even during this difficult time, he has managed to produce amazing content on social media, providing tips, tricks, and delightful moments that remind us all of the joy baking can bring. His positivity shines through, encouraging others to find happiness even in the darkest times. As a close-knit community, we at Apple Annie’s Bake Shop want to rally around Hans and show him the support he deserves. The journey ahead may be challenging, and we want to alleviate some of the financial burden that comes with medical expenses and treatment.
