Hi all! My name is Hannah.

I have an opportunity to go to Guatemala for a week and half this month. My friend Carol lives there and I met her during my International class trip back in 2019 with some other students from WCTC. It was a life changing experience. (Some pictures shown are from that trip). Since then, I've always wanted to go back to visit and do more volunteer opportunities. One just showed up, thanks to my friend for sharing with me. She mentioned that she has an opportunity to work with a mission team coming in to volunteer with a nonprofit organization called Provee.

About the organization- Provee is a nonprofit organization devoted to improving the spiritual and physical lives of the impoverished in Central and South America with Christian discipleship, improved nutrition, higher education and community involvement projects. So I'm planning to join them and need funds to pay for the expenses- transportation, room, and meals. The volunteer opportunity includes different activities. We will be visiting schools and churches, organizing games, and spending time with kids. Also will do a feeding project.

Thanks to Carol, the team is willing to let me join them so I'm excited and nervous about the opportunity. I will be paying out of my pocket which impacts my budget for this summer as well since I will be working part time during the summer. So this is part of the reason why I set up this, due to some encouragement from some people.

Any amount donated would be a big help, no matter how small or big the amount is. It will help give me a peace of mind and focus on the opportunity to go back and help out to the best of my ability.
