Help Halls Chapel's Rebuilding Effort after Hurricane Helene

Donation protected
This fundraiser is to raise funds to help rebuild our church in the wake of Helene's destructive path. Many of you have heard about the devastation in WNC, especially in Yancey County. A record 31.5" of rain fell in less than a 72-hour period. This unprecedented rainfall made for record flooding of our rivers and disastrous landslides, many of which destroyed homes, churches, vehicles, and lives.

Founded in the 1930s, Halls Chapel Baptist Church sits near the South Toe River. In the early morning hours of 09/27/24, the South Toe River broke its banks and continued to rise for 8 more hours. The church building and fellowship hall are left in complete ruin and will have to be rebuilt from the ground up.

My name is Bryan Thomas, Deacon of Hall Chapel. We will use every dollar donated to help rebuild our little church. We ask that each person that gives says a prayer that God will get the glory out of this trying time.
