<div>What started as a vacation in Mexico turned into our little Griffin developing a dangerous infection which started with severely diminishing his kidney capacity creating a build up of toxins further impacting his lungs and heart.

<div>Although we sought rapid medical attention at our local expat hospital when symptoms including confusion, gastrointestinal issues, extreme fatigue and dizziness begin to display - his kidney began to fail and complications proved to be more than that hospital was capable of addressing and we underwent emergency medical transport to Guadalajara to place him in a specialist pediatric hospital who was equipped to begin pediatric dialysis and the additional treatments he needs to begin remove the toxic buildup from his body.

<div>Andrew &amp; Scott are not ones to ask for help but because this happened while in Mexico this is all out of pocket without insurance coverage costing upwards of $8,000 per day for cardiologists, nephrologists, pulmonologists and hematologists.
