UPDATE July 11 2025: We're moving out of our ex's and back in with family mentioned in the description here. We were trying to avoid it for health reasons, but at this point the toll on our mental health while living here has become too much for us to handle. We'll still be struggling with our physical health when living with our family though, plus we're in desperate need of having some more space to ourselves, so we're leaving this page up to hopefully give us a chance to move into a place of our own!

This decision was a difficult one to make, but after learning about some changes that have happened with our family (a couple members have moved out and space is freed up for us to have our own bedroom for now), we felt it was best to move back and see if we can get some much needed support and care

Hi, we're Grey! We're a trans, queer, disabled, plural system that loves to create and is in desperate need of moving out of our current situation.

We're currently going through a very difficult breakup with our partner after a rocky 5 year relationship. We spent a long time blaming ourselves for and minimizing the problems we had, but overall our now-ex partner treated us like garbage and made very little effort to meet our needs, all while expecting us to make a miracle recovery from our disabilities. As of right now, we're still living with her, and the situation has grown into one that's difficult for us to stay in. We're now having daily breakdowns and panic attacks, and our ex has become increasingly cold towards us following a conversation where we laid out the problems we had in the relationship and how unfairly we've been treated for the past several years of living together. While she agreed that we deserve better and understands the harm she caused, she has continued the behaviors that made the relationship difficult.

We have until the end of the year to move out on our own terms (unless we're kicked out sooner), or else we'll be forced to move back into an even worse situation with our family in our home state. We're trying to avoid this as the home we'd be living in is an active detriment to our mental and physical health and contributed to a large part of our disabilities.

We've been trying to get a job or a more stable source of income, but it's been a struggle for us: we have ME/CFS and chronic pain issues, and we're nearly to the point of being bedridden. We can stay awake for a max of 2-3 hours at a time before napping, and those times spent awake are filled with brain fog that makes processing a standard workload very difficult for us. We've tried turning our creative endeavors into a steady income but haven't had much luck thus far, and we've been burning ourselves out and making our fatigue worse by trying this route.

We love to draw, write, and code things when we have the spoons and ability for it! Currently, we're most known for the Discord bots we've made, most of which can be found on our Github. We also make tools for fellow plural systems and other folks, which can be found here. The art we make has been sparse outside of commissions, but examples of those can be found on our Ko-Fi!

We're asking for a grand total of $10,000 in order to cover a variety of costs:

With any luck, this amount will cover at least 5-6 months of rent and any extra costs that we run into during the moving process. We're looking to receive multiple months of rent as we're still looking for a job and will need to have funds while we're in the process of searching so that we aren't immediately forced out of the new apartment.
