I am the daughter of Gregorio Hernandez and we are from El Salvador. <strong>My dad is 56 years old and in 2002, he had open heart surgery due to the left side of his heart dying.</strong> At the time, they were able to put a patch on the area and throughout the years, he’s been able to live a normal life, but of course, with medications.

<div>In recent years, his heart condition has weakened, therefore making his day-to-day life very hard. Over four weeks ago, his heart stopped several times. CPR and shocks were performed for a very long time until he was conscious again. Right now, he is in the ICU on the heart transplant list in a very high status, waiting for a Heart Transplant. We are hoping he is able to receive a heart as soon as possible since he is living with the help of machines.
