<div>I am Grace Jakobs, a recent graduate from Loyola University Chicago with a BFA. During my last semester, I conducted research and an experiment on the impact of profanity on attention, recall, visual attention, and emotions during academic lectures. The paper was approved by the International Research Board (IRB), presented at Loyola's Research Symposium, and accepted into the American Conference of Information Systems (AMCIS), where it earned recognition in the top 25% of submitted papers.
