<div>Grace Garwood—Alex Meyers’ beloved wife and mom to their son Winston—has entered hospice after a heroic three-year battle with cancer.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Alex calls her the bravest soul he’s ever known, a rock for their family. As Grace’s time grows short, Alex is juggling her care, raising their wonderful son Winston, working editing gigs, and managing all of the painful banalities that come with such a tragic life event.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>They are remarkable people, who have been through what no family should. When Grace was first diagnosed in 2022, family, friends and strangers rallied through a GoFundMe, raising $57,000 to help them fight her diagnosis. It helped them in their fight, and they maintained incredibly strong spirits, but the advanced nature of Grace's cancer made it extremely challenging to treat. Three years later, they have accumulated medical costs far exceeding what was raised, and lost income as Grace eventually had to stop working, and Alex had to balance his work load with the other tremendous responsibilities he's had to carry.

<div>Alex is a loving husband and father, a kind person, and an incredibly talented human being. Their son Winston is a beautiful kid who has already faced difficulties no child should.

</div>
<div>While they deal with this impossibly difficult event and transition to the next stage of their lives, we ask for your help to ensure Grace has every comfort, and that the family isn’t burdened by mounting expenses and has some room to breath.

</div>
<div>Your donations will go toward:
</div>
<div>• Paying off medical debt
</div>
<div>• Funeral costs
</div>
<div>• Childcare and home essentials for Winston
</div>
<div>• Moving/housing expenses
</div>
<div>• Meals and daily needs
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’re aiming for $125,000. It would allow him to properly care for and grieve his wife, care for his son, and figure out the next stage of their lives from a more stable position. If you can, please donate - Grace, and Alex and Winston need us. If it is not a good time for you, please share this campaign far and wide - it is an immense help.
