Support Grace's Fight for her Son and Unborn Child's Future

Hello Everyone,

My name is Grace and I am running this GoFundMe for my current life crisis that I did not expect to find myself in. Anyone who knows me knows that I am the most dedicated mother and I would do absolutely anything for my 8-month-old son and my unborn child. My child(ren) are my sun, earth, and all the stars. I am so grateful to be able to assist God in the miracle of giving them life. I am not one to ask for help as I have always tried to make means work or find my way around situations, but I am left with very few options as this has been a long and stressful process, and I am currently a full-time Mommy to my son which is why I am unemployed and have been since February when I was honorably discharged from the Navy. All donations made here will go towards legal fees which I am currently in the process of paying. Any help possible or simply a sharing or repost is greatly appreciated. Here is a brief description of my current situation:

My name is Grace as I stated above and I am a single first-time mother raising my growing, charming 8-month-old son on my own. Life has presented new challenges, but through it all, I am navigating in the best way that I know how- with God at the center. Praying every day through every situation has helped me keep pushing and hold onto hope. The biggest challenge I am currently facing is an unexpected custody battle. God has been showing me immense Grace in the start of this process and unexplainable miracles and signs keep presenting themselves. I am in the process of representing myself in court as I cannot afford legal assistance, however the opposing party's mother retained a lawyer for him. They are trying to obtain full custody of my son so that the paternal grandmother may raise my son when I am more than capable of doing so. With the opposing party having an attorney and extremely concerning issues for my son being presented, I truly am going to need legal representation to get through this. I am currently expecting a second child with the same person and this has not been an easy start to my second pregnancy. I really just want to continue to be the best mom that I can without the additives.

I am reaching out for support to ease some of the financial burdens I am facing throughout this process. I currently receive food assistance and WIC benefits for my son/my pregnancy because I am unemployed. I applied for legal aid (pro bono attorney) and they will not represent me since the opposing party is an active duty member of the U.S. Military and also because I am a veteran. They stated they do not have the resources for that specific matter. Every donation will go towards building a strong foundation for my son, Adonis, and my unborn child - legal representation. Any amount you are able to contribute will make a significant difference in our lives.
