MARTIN LUTHER KING JR, GRACE BAPTIST CHURCH’S ONLINE ZOOM WORSHIP SERVICE WAS DEFILED BY THE ECHOES OF WHITE SUPREMACY, HATRED AND VIOLENCE BY UNKNOWN PERPETRATORS AGAINST BLACKS, JEWS, LATINOS, AND LGBTQ MEMBERS OF OUR COMMUNITY. GRACE BAPTIST CHURCH IS ARGUABLY THE MOST PROGRESSIVE CHURCH IN SAN JOSE. SAN JOSE IS THE CAPITAL OF SILICON VALLEY AND THE TENTH LARGEST CITY IN AMERICA. GRACE BAPTIST CHURCH RECENTLY GARNERED UNWANTED NATIONAL ATTENTION WHEN IT SUFFERED A VICIOUS STABBING ATTACK THAT LEFT TWO MEMBERS OF OUR COMMUNITY DEAD, INCLUDING ONE TRANSPERSON, AND THREE OTHERS SEVERLY WOUNDED. REVEREND GEORGE OLIVER IS AN ANOMALY COMING OUT OF THE BLACK BAPTIST CHURCH. REV. OLIVER IS AN OUTSPOKEN AND PROGRESSIVE GAY AFRICAN AMERICAN CLERGYMAN FROM TEXAS, AMERICAN BAPTIST CHURCHES USA.  HIS PROFILE IN MAJOR CITIES ACROSS THE COUNTRY INTERSECTS SOCIAL JUSTICE, ARTS, RELIGIOUS ENGAGEMENT, BIPOC &amp; LGBTQIA ACTIVISM.
