Help us keep Goshin Ryu Church Ave Open

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we had to temporarily close our doors, as Karate is inherently a social art, but during this time of social distance, we found other ways to stay connected and engaged with our students, We offered free online classes to our students in the past few months to keep them active and positive during this crisis. Facing the financial challenge of covering our rent and other operating costs without our regular income, we understand that this is a difficult financial time for many, but if you can consider your contribution to our school, so that students have the opportunity to return to a stable and prosperous school once everything is back to normal, we're asking you to consider making your donation to support the school and its students. Goshin Ryu located at 1921 Church Ave in Brooklyn NY is a new location, open for less than a year. To take young people out of the streets and teach them traditional Shotokan Karate a sport whit discipline and respect to children, teens, and adults, Sensei Jonathan brought 20 years of Shotokan Karate experience from his honorable Shihan 6th Dan Luis Ruiz to families in the Flatbush community. My family and I humbly thank from the bottom of our hearts all the students and families of this community for accepting us with open arms, for all the support from our students. And those of you who support us in this situation today, we also want to thank you for taking the time to read and support the school and its students with your donations, not just helping the school or the students but the entire community, and continuing our mission to get youth off the streets with the help of karate, a sport that teaches discipline and respect for others.
