My name’s Gina, a Philadelphia native and long time restaurant industry worker. Tuesday January 7th, I was hit by an SUV while crossing the street. I hit my head so hard my skull was exposed. I was rushed to the hospital where I am leaving with serious head trauma, over 50 stitches, a fractured nose and soft tissue damage/deep bruising on my legs. With how severe my head wound is, I won’t be able to return to work anytime soon. I hate that it’s come to this, as I don’t like asking for help, but I don’t know what else to do.
