Gina has been my co-worker and friend for over 15 years. She is a single mother who has dedicated her life to caring for her adult son with disabilities, all while working nights delivering babies. Gina is known for her caring and giving nature—she’s always the first to offer help to others, both at work and in our community.

 Recently, Gina was diagnosed with colon cancer. This news has been a shock to all of us who know and love her. She now faces a challenging road ahead, including surgery and a recovery period that will keep her away from work for 6 to 8 weeks. As the primary provider for her family, this time away means she will need help covering both medical bills and everyday living expenses.
