Support Gili Air after earthquake

As you might already know, we were hit by a 7.0 earthquake in the evening of the 5th of August, at 7:46 PM local time, followed by countless aftershocks during the past few days.



Although we are shaken by these traumatic events, we are also so incredibly thankfull that all of our team is safe and none of us nor our guests were injured during this natural disaster.

Although Atoll Haven is still standing and had minor damages, a lot has been destroyed within seconds and the 3 Gilis are obviously not able to welcome any tourists at the moment. A lot of energy is currently being put at helping our beautiful islands get back on their feet and most importantly the north part of Lombok where our staffs and their families live and which suffered unimaginable devastation.



The Gili Islands help both directly and indirectly thousands of people to provide for themselves and their families. In times like this, it is our duty to come together and help one another in our community to recover and get back to normal life as soon as possible.

This is why today, we are asking for your help so we can keep all our staff on a payroll during this non-operative time and help them continue to provide for their family at a time they need it the most, help our community to rebuild the island and provide the necessary needs for the difficult weeks/months to come.

Even amounts that appear small can make a huge difference in our part of the world and any donation will be truly helpful.

We want to thank you from the bottom of our heart for your support and all the good thoughts we have received so far.

We sincerely hope that the Gilis will be running again rather sooner than later and wish to see you all someday on our once again beautiful islands.
