<div>I never thought I’d be writing this, but life has a way of changing in an instant. My brother, Gilbert, was in a terrible motorcycle accident on February 11th. What was supposed to be a normal ride to work, turned into a nightmare when a driver failed to yield and pulled out in front of his bike.

</div>

<div>Gilbert was life flighted to the hospital and suffered multiple serious injuries, including a fractured spine, brain injury, broken left leg, broken ribs, collapsed lung and had his spleen removed. Gilbert has already undergone several surgeries and we are expecting more due to the extent of his injuries. He’s facing a long road to recovery, with extensive physical therapy, medical bills, and will be unable to return to work for the foreseeable future.

<div>Gilbert is one of the most hardworking, kind-hearted people you’ll ever meet. He’s always the first to lend a hand, crack a joke, or show up when someone else is in need.
