<div>Aloha! I am the aunt of a very sweet 12 year old Hawaiian girl named Gialynn. Yesterday 10-7-25 I received the worst news over the phone. I was informed that my Niece had hit her head in a freak accident while swimming with her cousins. She also had a near drowning incident due to her injury she had lost all feeling in her lower extremities. Her relatives near by saved her and held her afloat till help arrived. From Kaua’i they transferred her to Kapiolani hospital in O’ahu. Doctors are trying to remain hopeful but have no good news to bare for my Brother and his wife. Gia is a fun, loving young girl raised with the true Hawaiian fundamentals of life. She lives and loves with her whole heart. Gia is also a very good student earning honorable grades. This injury has changed their lives forever especially for Gia. She will need the help of not only her parents but the help of all who can help. They need anything that you can give. Anything helps. Please help give to Gia so that she may have a chance at living life to fullest like she always has. They don’t have a home they own yet my brother serves in the National Guard and works a full time job and my sister in law works a full time job also. They are both very busy. I just want to try to raise money so that maybe just maybe she will have the chance to be able to walk again with the extensive treatment. With this money maybe she will have that chance. They will also need a wheelchair accessible vehicle. I’m hoping to raise enough money to help. So please help our Gia. Mahalo.
