I'm requesting assistance for one of my firefighters, Georges De Schryver, who was just diagnosed with cancer. <strong>Firefighter De Schryver noticed pain in his leg recently and went to the doctor to find out he has developed a mass that, after biopsy, turned out to be sarcoma.</strong>

<div>Georges is the primary provider for his household and recently was able to purchase his first home for his girlfriend and newborn daughter. With becoming a new homeowner comes new expenses which Firefighter De Schryver works multiple overtime shifts a pay period to support his family and make ends meet. Now with his diagnosis, Georges has a long road ahead with an estimated time out of work 6-8 months for surgeries and chemotherapy.
