I have recently been in touch with Geo, who is part of a group of eleven trans refugees, currently located in Kenya, struggling to find safety. For the time being, they have secured housing and are no longer on the streets, but the group is still struggling greatly with living expenses as they attempt to get back on their feet. I've helped out where I could, but it's become clear that a greater collective effort is needed to make a lasting difference. 
 
Funds are needed for groceries, basic amenities, and future expenses that could still arise in their precarious situation. Donations received will promptly be electronically transferred to Geo, who has been in charge of fundraising for the group. 
 
Donations received this month will go to covering an unprecedented medical emergency within the group, as well as survival costs and maintenance of the farm. Ultimately their goal is to relocate to South Africa, but they are currently focused on gaining enough independence to begin a more solid plan for their future.
