With an annual income of $40,000, it’s a challenge to survive in a city as expensive as NYC, let alone maintain good health. When my health insurance was taken away, I turned to herbal remedies out of necessity. What started as a personal need grew into a deep appreciation for the healing power of plants.

Through this journey, I realized just how many people in our city face similar struggles: hardworking individuals and families who are left without affordable, reliable healthcare. The AbroVitae School of Traditional Herbalism offers a 3-year certification program that will equip me with the expertise I need to provide high-quality herbal care to NYC’s underserved communities.
