<div>I have recently found out that my friend/colleague/temporary roommate, Gari Marter, has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

<div>For those of you that don’t know, Gari and I have been living together the past 2 1/2 years. We were in a battle with the largest project of our lives. We put in a lot of hours and hard work. As we are nearing the finish line, he starts to have some health issues. In December of ‘23, the doctors determine he has acute pancreatitis. Gari starts to feel a bit better after being on a strict diet. We keep moving forward with the job and a few months later we are finally home. We are back with our families. We can go back to our daily lives.

<div>Shortly after being home Gari’s health issues came back. This time, however, the news was drastically worse. Gari has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

<div>Gari will be getting chemotherapy treatments for the next 10-12 months. Once his treatments are completed, the doctors plan to do surgery to remove the tumor.
</div>

</div>
<div>This battle is the biggest battle Gari will have to face. He has pancreatic cancer. He has a wife and children. I want to help in anyway that I can and this is what I feel is the best. Help me support Gari and his family with the fight of his life. I want to help raise money to relieve some of the stresses of life, medical expenses, bills, whatever.
