<div>If you've found this page, you may be aware my sister, Gabby (36), was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer.

<div>Although she has already received surgery to remove a large portion of her colon (where the mass was found) and the surrounding lymph nodes, further tests confirmed that the cancer had metastasized to her liver. The plan now is for Gabby to undergo 6 rounds of chemo, followed by a liver surgery, followed by 6 more rounds of chemo, amounting to about a year of treatment in total.

<div>Those of you who know Gabby, know she is one of the most kind, beautiful, independent and hard working people you will ever meet. She has always put others before herself and while she has put on a strong and positive face in the midst of all of this, she needs our help. 
</div>

<div>For this reason we have created this fundraiser to assist her and her family (Mike, her husband, and their 3 young children, Bella (5 yrs), Scarlett (4 yrs), and Luca (6 months)) with health and quality of life related expenses. This would include surgeries, advanced treatment options, specialists, meals, childcare, housekeeping, as well as any other unexpected expenses that may arise, while Gabby will be taking a backseat from her normal mom duties during this difficult battle.
