Dear Friends and Family,

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Kim-Marie Brown, a loving wife, sister, mother, and friend, who departed this life on May 19, 2024, at the age of 53.

Kim-marie was an extraordinary woman whose love and dedication touched the lives of everyone who knew her. As we navigate this difficult time, we find solace in the incredible community that surrounds us—friends, family, students and colleagues who shared in her joy and cherished her presence.

Kim-marie's greatest pride and joy were her children, and the beautiful home she cultivated with her husband, Ebi Soroush. In her memory, we have created this private GoFundMe account to allow those who wish to provide blessings to her family a space to do so.

A celebration of Kim-Marie's life will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at 2:30PM EST, at Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg, Virginia, where family, friends, and colleagues will gather to honor her memory and the remarkable contributions she made to the community. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Kim-Marie's memory are invited to contribute to a family support fund, which will assist her family in navigating the financial transitions during this period.

Kim-Marie Brown will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched. Thank you for being a part of our journey and for helping us uphold the beautiful life and legacy that Kim-Marie Brown created.
