<div>Mr. David is one of the survivors of the school shooting at Apalachee High School this week. Mr. David was shot protecting his students with Ricky Aspinwall, one of the teachers/coaches who sadly did not survive. They were together when Ricky was shot and killed. Mr. David was shot twice, once in his hip and once through his foot. He has had two successful surgeries so far and has been stable. He is expected to spend at least one more day in the ICU and is projected to not need any more surgeries! He has begun physical therapy.
