<div>For Freddie Walsh, that dream has become a reality.

<div>At just 18 years old, Freddie has been selected to represent Wales at the 2026 Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships in Winnipeg, Canada. It is an incredible honour and the result of years of dedication, discipline and determination.

<div>This isn’t a journey that began overnight. It has been built through thousands of hours of training, early mornings, late evenings, sacrifices and an unwavering commitment to becoming the very best he can be.

<div>Along the way Freddie has proudly represented both Wales and Great Britain, broken Welsh records and established himself as one of the country’s leading Sub-Junior powerlifters. Now he has the opportunity to compete against some of the strongest athletes from across the Commonwealth while proudly wearing the Welsh vest.
