I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for someone who means the world to me — my Dad, Freddie San Miguel.

Recently, my Dad was diagnosed with stage 5 kidney failure. He is currently preparing for surgery to begin dialysis soon, which is our first hope. If dialysis isn’t enough, he’ll face the long road of waiting for a kidney transplant. The news has been overwhelming for all of us.

For over 30 years, my Dad worked as a dedicated parts manager at companies like Sewell, Lithia, and AutoInc. He was the guy who always showed up early, stayed late, and went the extra mile not just for the job, but for the people! If you know him, you know he’s the one who gives without hesitation, whether you’re family, a friend, a coworker, or even a stranger crossing his path. He has never been one to ask for help - in fact, he’s usually the first to offer it.

But now, he needs our help...

Due to his health, my Dad is no longer able to work. He’s doing his best to stay positive and is holding onto a longtime dream of opening a small detail shop from home when he’s well enough. We’re doing everything we can to support him, but the upcoming medical and travel expenses are growing quickly.
