It is with great sadness that we share that Dory Puglisi was killed in a head-on collision on June 7th. She is survived by our friend and beloved community member Frankie Owens, Dory's dad Lee Puglisi, and her siblings Gwen and Alex. As you can imagine they are all heartbroken.
Frankie's community of friends and clients didn't want her to have to worry about the financial stress of the next month, including memorial or funeral expenses for Dory. Many of you have asked how you can help Frankie and her family as she navigates this tragedy...this is one way you can support her. As you know, Frankie is a solo business owner and if she can't teach pilates classes, she can't earn an income. But we don't want Frankie to feel like she has to go back to the studio until she is ready! A contribution of any amount is truly appreciated in order to give Frankie and her family the gift of TIME and a little breathing room as they grieve this loss. More information coming soon regarding a meal train, housing needs for out-of-town funeral attendees, and other ways you can help with logistics for the memorial.

Update: Dory was in the car with her bestie Emma who is currently in the hospital but signs suggest she will pull through. Emma's mom Maddie Quissek was also killed in the incident.
