<div>David has spent several years as a first responder, bravely fighting fires, rescuing people from accidents, and bringing hope to his community. Now, after decades of helping others, David is facing his own challenges. Two years ago, he was diagnosed with severe panic disorder from PTSD, leading to frequent panic attacks, blackouts at work, and multiple emergency room visits. The fear and anxiety have become overwhelming, making even simple tasks like attending his daughters’ school events or doctor’s appointments nearly impossible. Alongside his mental health struggles, David was dismissed from the fire department due to neck pain and underwent surgery to remove arthritis from several vertebrae. Unfortunately, the pain and numbness have returned, causing him to lose grip in his hands and drop things. Despite nerve conduction testing, he was turned down for another surgery six months ago. Last week, David was diagnosed with COPD, which has been linked to his panic attacks and breathing difficulties. Each day is a challenge, with a regimen of medications, inhalers, and a CPAP machine to manage his symptoms. David has applied for disability but has not worked in 18 months. The family has used every dollar in their savings for medical expenses, copays, therapy, and raising their two teenage daughters. As school approaches, they are struggling to provide supplies, new shoes, and clothes for their girls, who deserve a sense of normalcy despite their father’s health challenges. Donations to this fundraiser will help cover medical bills, copays, therapy, medication, and back-to-school supplies for the girls. The family is facing mounting bills and often doesn’t have enough gas money to get to doctor’s appointments. It would be such a blessing to this sweet family to have a little help to get their feet back on solid ground. Your support can make a real difference in their lives, offering hope and relief during an incredibly difficult time.
