My daddy, William (Billy) Foster passed away on May 11th, 2025. I just learned this today, eight days later, as I was not listed as the next of kin. His mother was listed as his emergency contact, but I was able to speak with both Richland and the Richland Coroner’s office this evening. I’m listed as next of kin, as his oldest daughter, and I can’t leave him at the morgue, but my husband and I cannot afford the decisions I need to make to give my dad the leave off that he deserves…my dad had his issues, certainly. No matter what, he loved Bryar, Robert, and me. We were his everything, even when it didn’t seem as such. To go on further, dad passed due to necrotic pneumonia, according to the coroner. I am so very blessed that I’m in charge of everything, but I need help. Please, help me send my daddy off. I don’t care if we reach the entire goal. Every little bit counts. I just need help. Dad didn’t have life insurance, so this is falling all on me, financially. Even through the faults, I loved my dad from the day I met him, and I will always love him with everything I have. My brothers and stepmom also deserve to be able to send him off properly, and I want to give them that. I need it so much, as well. I don’t know how any of this works…I’m at a loss. But I’m going to do my very best to do right by him. Thank you all in advance, and I appreciate everything given to help me do this for my daddy. I can’t plan the service until the funds are acquired.
