Support for tragic family loss at Christmas

Remembering Dylan

 

 

As many of you will know, Dylan Causero was tragically taken from his family on 17th December 2021, at only 24 years old in sad circumstances on a road to recovery following challenging times. He was doing very well and was thriving in a relationship with his girlfriend Olivia and continued to have the much needed support, love and guidance from his mother Nicola and his siblings Mya and Tyler. He was his grandparents first born and was very special to them.

Those that knew Dylan will know that he was an extremely handsome,  intelligent young man who made everyone laugh. He loved the gym and was so knowledgeable about nutrition and exercise. He was excellent at sport, particularly rugby which was a significant party of his life growing up.  As a result he had many friends and was well know in the rugby circle including Rhondda Schools Rugby. 

Dylan was often a troubled young man who battled his demons but began to turn his life around and had a bright future ahead of him as he continued with his university studies and biomedical degree. He was on the right pathway, following positive progress battling drug addiction.

He was a charming and caring young man and his death has been devastating to his family, friends and the whole local community.

With the approval of Dylan’s family I am setting up this page hoping to raise some money to help cover the unexpected funeral costs of this young man and to give him the send off that he deserves. I am hoping that this will give his family one less thing to worry about on top of their grief and everything that comes with losing a loved one, particularly a week before Christmas. 

Any donations would be gratefully received by the family and any excess funding will be donated to support Mind and a Drug Support charity to help others who are battling the same demons as he did.
