I'm a single mom raising two teenage daughters on my own, and life took an unexpected turn when I broke my shoulder on April 1st, 2026. Without any financial help from their dad, it's always been a challenge to make ends meet, but this injury has made things even harder. I’m currently unable to work, and while I’m grateful to receive some income, it’s only 60% of my usual pay until I’m cleared to return. There’s also a chance I’ll need surgery, and I’ll find out more after seeing the surgeon tomorrow.
