My name is Laura, and I’m raising funds to help cover medical and final expenses for my mother, Tomasita Martinez. Tomasita has always been the heart of our family—a devoted mother, grandmother, and caregiver to so many. She’s the person everyone turned to for support, and she never hesitated to help others in need. Her love language was cooking, and she was famous for her delicious menudo and enchiladas, always making sure everyone had a warm meal and felt cared for.

 Recently, our family has faced an incredibly difficult time. In just one month, Tomasita suffered three strokes and experienced both kidney and liver failure. These sudden health challenges have been overwhelming, and we’ve had to make tough decisions about her care. The costs of nursing home care and funeral arrangements are more than our family can manage alone.
