Support for Tim's Lung Transplant

Hi, my name is Rachel, and I am one of Tim and Flora Thibodeau's five children. I never imagined I would have to say anything like this, but our dad, Tim, is very ill. He has a terminal illness called IPF, which can only be cured through a single or double lung transplant. With an amazing medical team in Connecticut, he has been sent to a hospital that specializes in lung transplants in Pennsylvania. We are incredibly grateful to every medical professional who has been a part of his care so far. As we wait to see if a lung becomes available, we face the heartache of him being away from his five children, 11 grandchildren, four siblings, and our mom, Flora—his everything. With this being our new reality, and our mom recently retired, we are finding it financially stressful to cover expenses like gas, hotel stays, rental cars, and food. Many amazing people in my dad's life have been lending a hand, and we are incredibly thankful. We are looking to use any funds raised to help Flora and his children visit Tim without worry. If you know our dad, Tim, you would know that he is a quiet, smart, generous, loving, gentle, respectful, brave, spiritual, and strong man. We are a wreck without him. Please help us get to him. All funds will solely go toward travel to Tim and, if needed, his medical expenses.
