Please help and support this young family.
On the 01/08/2017 the loving Partner, father, brother and son, Kwaku 'Patrick' Amankwaa sadly and suddenly lost his life. He left behind his partner and triplets who were born last year in the same hospital he had sadly lost his life in.
Patrick was feeling unwell on the 31/07/2017 and was admitted to his local hospital where he had tests conducted on him immediately, the results found that he had a possible chest infection which required him to be transfered to another hospital that could manage his symptoms more appropriately. Patrick was waiting for a bed to be able to be transfered. Sadly he was never transfered.
Patrick was still his loud and funny self with no signs of slowing down despite feeling unwell, he was able to walk, talk and joke around the night he was admitted. His mother, partner and two best friends saw him on the 31/07/2017 night. The doctors and nurses reported that there was nothing too serious to worry about at that time.
The following Morning is when everything in regards to his health took a turn for the worse.
Patrick's partner and mother visited him earlier that morning 01/08/2017, still joking around and smiling he told them after a while to go home and come back later on as he was 'ok'. Patrick was also visited by the church pastor that day. Patrick showed no signs at all of deterioration. When his partner and mother were going to leave he told them he would walk them outside the hospital. Little did they know that would be the last time they would see him alive.
Patrick's best friend received a phone call at lunch time. The social worker stated that the doctors wanted to see his mother and partner immediately. When his mother arrived at the hospital the news that he had passed away suddenly was given by the nurse looking after him.
Kwaku 'Patrick' Amankwaa was such a loving and devoted partner to Akua and a great supportive father juggling two jobs to support his young family. Patrick will be missed dearly by family and friends.
He was known to always be there for others no matter what. Please help support the triplets and his partner through this sad and troubling time.
The days following the tragic loss of the triplets' father, things have been so difficult. Though the children are young and may not understand the extent of death they feel the loss of their father's presence, crying mentioning 'dada.' Please help support this family at this time.
The funds will be used to help with housing payments and utilities for his partner and children. His partner is not working as she has to look after the triplets.
