Jeremy Thomas, his wife Robin, and their children lost their home and all their possessions to a wildfire in Spokane, Washington just last night. Jeremy has been a faithful pastor-teacher and seminary professor for more than twenty years, serving communities in Texas and Washington with unwavering dedication. His commitment to deliberate, inductive study of God's Word has made him a hero to many, including myself. After fifteen years of pastoral ministry in Fredericksburg Bible Church, Jeremy answered the Lord's call to serve at Spokane Bible Church, following God's mission for the Thomas family. He has developed master's level courses in systematic theology and Bible exposition for Chafer Theological Seminary, and his calm delivery, kind manner, and diligent labor have set him apart as a leader and mentor. Jeremy's life is devoted to the ministry of the Gospel, and he has helped countless believers grow in their faith. He has also written multiple New Testament commentaries and continues to contribute to theological scholarship.

The Thomas family now faces the daunting task of rebuilding their lives after the wildfire. This fund is meant to help them meet the inevitable financial challenges that come with the catastrophic loss of their home. While Jeremy and Robin know that "this world is not our home," they need shelter, clothing, and the essentials to live in this world for the short time we are given. Many are seeking to offer assistance, and this fund will help focus the outpouring of support from their community. Donations will help with immediate needs like housing, clothing, and food, and will also support the family as they navigate the long-term process of rebuilding or relocating after the insurance claim process. Jeremy's church can be found at spokanebiblechurch.com, and donations made to prestoncitybible.org marked for Thomas family support will also be conveyed to them.

As a brother, friend, fellow-worker, and admirer of Jeremy Thomas, I want to personally request your support for their financial recovery. Please pray for them, reach out if you have been blessed by their ministry, and let us intercede for the Thomas family before the Throne of Grace. Your generosity and compassion will make a real difference in their journey to rebuild and find hope after this tragedy.
