On May 19th, Rosemary June Sherwood joined the beautiful Sherwood family. She has been a perfect addition and sweet bundle of joy.
Over the last 5 days, the Sherwoods have been through a series of doctor appointments and tests brought on by the swelling of Rosemary's eyelid and her loss of visual tracking. On Friday, she underwent an MRI under sedation. Unfortunately, the outcome has brought overwhelming news.
Rosemary has been diagnosed with a benign arachnoid cyst (the size of a grape) in her cavernous sinus. The location of the cyst is extremely rare. The cyst is putting pressure on the cranial nerve and causing the swelling and the inability to track. She is currently in PICU waiting for her craniotomy procedure to drain the cyst.
We want to surround Lance and Chelsea and their entire family with our love, prayers and support. So, what can do to help? We can pray for the surgeons and for a successful surgery. And we can offset the financial hardship of this. Let's be a blessing to them in their time of need and take away the financial strain so that they can focus all of their time and energy into their family.
