Support for the Pupils of Signal Arts Prep School

Western Uganda recently experienced its worst flooding since 1967. Over 5000 people were displaced and 8 people were killed during the floods. Crops have been washed away, and homes were destroyed. Villagers who have lost everything are sheltering in makeshift camps where food, bedding and water are in short supply. Among those affected are students of a preschool called Signal Arts Preparatory School. This is a small center with caring staff and teachers who are dedicated to aiding local native children develop social and communication skills, encourage team work, and identify and develop talents. Signal is an acronym for Strategic Initiative for Grooming Natives into active Art Learners Students would work together to inspire others in the community to do good deeds through artistic display as well as develop methods of recycling and reusing waste around the town. Now many of these children are suffering without their daily routine of artistic and creative outlets, socialization, and free lunches. All donations will be sent directly to the Director of Signal Arts Preparatory School, Bwambale Henry.  Using assistance from the local Chairperson's Office in Nyabutundu cell he will be able to distribute much needed household supplies, groceries, and art supplies to these students. In the process of handing out care packages, he and coworkers will network to distribute activities and worksheets for the students to study while they are unable to attend school. This in turn will greatly lift the kids' spirits and help them remain hopeful for a brighter future all while encouraging math and literature studies.
