Support for the Paulsen's

I am helping raise money for some close friends of mine Pete and Pat Paulsen, to help with medical expenses that they recently encounter due to Pat having a second stroke this past April.
Pete and Pat Paulsen have always been the type of people that try to do everything they can for their community. Over the past 30 years they have held an event called The Hot Rod Party on their property, which has raised over $100,000 for local charities as well as for Hawaii’s Children’s Cancer Foundation. They also started a nonprofit program in 2018 called Bikes For Kids which takes bicycles that people no longer have a use for, refurbishes them back to their original glory and then donates them to children of families that may not be able to purchase one themselves. Since staring the program, the Paulsen’s have donated close to two hundred bicycles.
Unfortunately, this past April Pat had a stroke (her second one in less than six years), causing her to be bed ridden in a hospital for a month. From there she was placed in a treatment facility to help her recover.
While Pat was in the treatment facility Pete had received a phone call from his Medicare provider advising him that his medical plan was up and that they were releasing Pat from the facility unless he could pay almost two hundred dollars a day. Unfortunately, Pete could not afford to do this due to the fact the he and Pat are both retired and live off their social security; so, Pat had to come home without the full treatment process.
Any amount of money we can raise for the Paulsen’s would greatly help. Living on social security is not easy for anyone, especially when your hit with unexpected medical expenses.
