Support for the Monzon Funes family

This fundraiser is to support the Monzon Funes family after Lucio Monzon Funes was tragically and senselessly killed outside his home recently. Lucio leaves behind his wife, two sons aged 7 and 3... as well as an extended family that he was supporting financially.  His extended family was already behind on rent and bills and without work during the pandemic so relied on Lucio since he was the one most consistently working...and supporting in particular 7 youth from four schools (East Oakland Pride, LPS, New Highland, and a Castlemont alumn). The family is working on other funding sources to cover funeral costs, and transporting Lucio's body to Guatemala...so this fund will help the family pay rent and bills owed and begin to help offset the huge financial impact of his loss.

Este juntafondos es para apoyar a la familia Monzón Funes después de que Lucio Monzón Funes fuera asesinado de manera trágica  y sin razon fuera de su casa recientemente. Lucio deja atrás a su esposa, dos hijos de 7 y 3 años ... además de una familia extensa a la que mantenía económicamente. Su familia extendida ya estaba atrasada con el alquiler y las facturas y sin trabajo durante la pandemia, por lo que confió en Lucio, ya que él era el que trabajaba más constantemente ... y apoyaba en particular a 6 jóvenes de tres escuelas (East Oakland Pride, LPS, New Highland y un ex alumno de Castlemont ). La familia está trabajando en otras fuentes de financiamiento para cubrir los costos del funeral y transportar el cuerpo de Lucio a Guatemala ... por lo que este fondo ayudará a la familia a pagar el alquiler y las facturas adeudadas y comenzar a ayudar a compensar el enorme impacto financiero de su pérdida.
