I'm Alicia Lynch, Andy Lynch's sister-in-law. When I first met Andy over a decade ago he greeted me with the biggest, arms wide-open hug I'd ever received. I've been blessed to be getting those hugs ever since and watching Andy befriend anyone and everything that steps in his path.
Since our first meeting, I've had the joy of watching Andy sneak kisses with his beloved wife Michele (yes, we saw you!!) and dote on his three children - happily transporting his daughter, Karissa, to dance competitions all over New England, constantly coaxing smiles out of his sweet teenager, Mikayla. For the first three years of Cooper's life, I don't think I ever once saw that sweet boy anywhere but in Andy's arms or right next to him.
On August 22, Andy Lynch passed away unexpectedly. He leaves behind his adoring wife, Michele, and his three beautiful children, Mikayla (16), Karissa (10), and Cooper (7).
In lieu of flowers, the Lynch and Severance families have set up a donation page for Andy's three children to help them through this difficult time as they transition into a "new normal."
We know that Andy is at peace, likely hugging and befriending every soul he encounters. We also know that he, like us, is incredibly humbled by the outpouring of love and support that the family has received.
